The Berlin Gate is part of the city fortifications of Fürstenwerder built from field stones in the 13th century. Originally there were three gates, of which the Prenzlauer Tor was demolished in 1878. The two remaining city gates, the "Berliner Tor" (formerly the Hoher Tor) in the south and the "Woldegker Tor" (formerly the Wassertor) in the west are among the oldest of their kind in northern Germany.
- Built in the 13th century, called the "Hohe Tor"
- Was additionally secured by a front gate
- Around 1905 the front gate was removed
- 1968/69 wall breakthrough for the new road layout
