Congratulate yourself if you get to top without dabbing! The rutted nature of the climb means it can sometimes just be too tough, or sometimes it is too wet (or even too dry).
All in all, it's a good form-testing climb for a bit of the county where there aren't so many hills! A short, sharp challenge to get your heart rate up.

Just a thought – you might get here and wonder why it is a highlight (I get it) but it is arguably super useful as a cut-through to avoid the roads.

As in the title its very sandy and grip is very hard to come by, I have to be honest and admit I did put a foot down :(
