The nature reserve Langes Luch / Dachsheide is located in the Berlin district of Dahlem and is a swamp area in the Grunewaldseenkette. To the south is the NSG Riemeisterfenn, to the north of the Grunewaldsee. The Fenngraben runs on the east side of the lynx. There are hiking trails on both the east and west sides of the lynx.

The Lange Luch is a nature reserve in the Berlin district of Dahlem on the edge of the Grunewald. The Luch is a swampy, swampy depression in the glacial channel of the Grunewaldseenkette between the Riemeisterfenn in the southwest and the Grunewaldsee in the northeast. The water connection is established by a canal that runs on the east side of the lynx.

The city of Berlin placed the 15 hectare wetland under nature protection as early as 1960. The ordinance of 1960 and its subsequent amendments were updated and replaced on June 26, 1987 by a new ordinance on the Langes Luch nature reserve. The purpose of protection is emphasized therein:

      1. To maintain the communities of the open transitional moor, the swinging lawns and the alder forests,

      2. to preserve rare and endangered plants,

      3. to secure the habitat for the fauna typical of bog,

      4. To preserve the layer structure of the moorland for natural and cultural reasons.

Very quiet section between Grunewaldsee and Krumme Lanke. Here you hike along a swampy nature reserve with great vegetation. Definitely recommended.
