The S'Ena Arrubia Pond Site of Community Interest is a wetland located along the west coast of Sardinia near the Gulf of Oristano.
It is a shallow basin dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and characterized by a particular habitat where remarkable plants, fish and aquatic birds such as the pink flamingo, the sultana hen and many species of herons come together.

In Sardinia there are various areas of significant environmental interest recognized by the EU, concerning the Mediterranean biogeographical region.
Among these sites, defined with the acronym SIC (Sites of Community Interest) is the S'Ena Arrubia pond: it is a wetland located along the western coast of Sardinia, not far from the Gulf of Oristano, is flanked by the SP 49 and falls within the municipality of di Arborea.
It is a shallow pool dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity and characterized by a particular habitat where plants, fishes (eels, carp, mullet and sea bass) and remarkable water birds (pink flamingo, sultan chicken, red heron, kingfisher ...) live.
