Cycling Skye is at times challenging when you want to avoid traffic, as there is much of it there. On this particular stretch of Island there is a beautiful way of just doing that by riding the old and slightly overgrown asphalt road, parallel to the main modern car road. It's quite and only occasionally used by hikers and cyclists. Next to that, because it has this nice 'zen' to it... it gives great opportunity to take in the amazing landscape around you.
