On this site there used to be a Uestra freight station called "Körtingsdorf" (later tram station "Am Soltekampe", today there are the Badenstedter Carré and some empty shops). There was a direct connection from the freight station to the Egestorffshall and Neuhall salt works, as well as to the Schörling wagon factory and the Linden harbors.
