Mountain biking

The Klausberg Tower, I believe, is an old watchtower that you can climb. There's also a nice little trail running parallel to the road below the tower, leading back down into town. It's much more fun on a mountain bike than taking the road.

Hiking

The tower is worth a detour, actually not so well known.

Hiking

I didn't meet anyone, neither on the way to the tower, on the tower, nor on the way back - the Klausberg Tower is really a great destination. And from the top of the tower you have a great view of Bad Sooden-Allendorf, the quarry ponds, etc. 👍
