Please check local regulations for: Höhlteich
The Oelsnitz Höhlteich (formerly also called Höllenteich) is fed by the Höhlbach and is idyllically surrounded by the Höhlholz (formerly also known as Höllenwald or Höhlenwald). The pond in the middle of the forest in Oelsnitz/Erzgebirge is also a valuable nature reserve in Oelsnitz. This nature reserve serves as an important habitat for many plants and animals, for example, you can find grey herons, great crested grebes, swans, wild ducks, various species of fish, etc.
