On September 26, 1904, the church was consecrated by the parish's first pastor, Joachim Ungnad.
In 1960 the church received four hard-cast iron bells to replace the bells that had been donated as metal during the Second World War. The consecration of the bells took place on January 15, 1961. These bells have now been replaced. Three of the old bells stand in front of the church.
