The construction of the new castle began in the early 18th century, but due to a legal dispute between the owner Christoph Wilhelm von Tucher and the authorities, the completion was delayed for decades. The building is approximately 30 meters long and eleven meters wide. The local school was temporarily housed on the ground floor, while the upper floor was empty for a long time. The facade of the castle is made of sandstone and is now privately owned. Next to the new castle are the old castle and the Maria Magdalena church.
