The historic Laupen is small. Almost tiny. Nevertheless, it leaves great impressions behind its walls. The warmly romantic old town with its cobblestone squares and alleys and the awe-inspiring view up to the defiant castle make everyone jam. Only the parked vehicles on the Läubliplatz tarnish the medieval look. So if you have taken a look at the Stedtli and the castle, you can still let off steam in the green surroundings of Laupen. If you want to indulge in one or the other taste buds, we recommend the Bären bei Bären Platz to eat. Good and civil. The café with cakes or sandwiches is best enjoyed in the Kreuzplatz café by the Freiburgtor. The small restaurant is so homely. For those of you who still like something wet, I recommend a walk along the "Sense". If you follow its banks, you will find dozens of hikes in the green landscape of Laupen.
