The Holthusenbad, built between 1912 and 1914, was designed by Fritz Schumacher. It is a temple for bathing culture in Eppendorf. Inside there is an 11 x 31 m wave pool and a 34 ° C thermal pool. Outside the bathing hall you can dive into the cool water in the heated outdoor pool with underwater lighting.
Children can have fun and let off steam in the water playground. For the older ones, the spa area with bubble beds and whirlpool is recommended. Bathers can also relax in the stylish sauna area, where there is a wide range of options: Finnish sauna, stone sauna, eucalyptus bath, aroma, vitality and steam baths and more. v. m. A bistro provides the bathers with snacks and drinks.
A little tip: Every Friday from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., lovers can treat themselves to a romantic evening for two with candlelight bathing.

The bath was opened in 1914. It has retained much of its former charm. The historic thermal baths offer a wonderful ambience for swimming and a lovingly equipped sauna world in the style of the 1920s. In addition, there is also the opportunity to swim laps in the open air in the heated outdoor pool.
