Ticket for Petra includes free bus shuttle from Visitor Center to Little Petra. Visit the gorge there and then continue for 5 JOD / P to the starting point of a unique trail via the monastery through the entire park to the visitor center, all highlights along the way. In the end it was around 14.5 km on an easily walkable hiking trail, up and down. Highly recommended, but good shoes should be on board!
