The single-nave church is built of quarry stones and dates from the 13th century. To the west of the nave is a church tower that runs across the nave. It is covered with a gable roof and has acoustic arcades designed as pointed arches. Modifications were made in 1505 and in the 19th century. A small extension is added on the south side of the nave.

The interior of the church is covered by a plank ceiling from the 16th century. It is decorated with ornamental stencil painting. There is also a bilateral gallery. The Gothic carved altar was built around 1430. A Madonna is depicted in its elevated middle part. It is flanked on the side by two female saints, one above the other. Only the figure of Jacobus Major is preserved as a figure in the wings of the altar. A restoration was carried out in 1937. The carved altar in the wings was carefully supplemented by texts. During the restoration, large additions to the ceiling paintings were made. In the church there is also a polygonal parish box with trellis and polygonal pulpit from the 17th century. There is also a baptismal font from the beginning of the 18th century and a sacramental niche dated 1505. The Rühlmann organ in the church has a mechanical mechanism from 1880.

Unfortunately I could not find out if and when you can visit the cute little church from the inside.

The church was built in the late Romanesque style. The tower is covered with a stone tent roof.
