Szklarska Poręba Town Center

Szklarska Poreba, in German Schreiberhau, is one of the most important Polish places in the Giant Mountains and a center of tourism. The place lies between the northern slope of the Giant Mountains and the eastern foothills of the Jizera Mountains.

Larger town on the Kamienna river. Lots of tourist stalls, with all sorts of local things, smoked cheese, sausage, precious stones. But there is also a lot of junk to see.
The disadvantage is the enormous car traffic through the main streets, which is why caution is always required.More about the story:

Szklarska Poreba is a hip place for skiers, but hikers and cyclists can also make beautiful tours from here.
