Larger town on the Kamienna river. Lots of tourist stalls, with all sorts of local things, smoked cheese, sausage, precious stones. But there is also a lot of junk to see.
The disadvantage is the enormous car traffic through the main streets, which is why caution is always required.

Schreiberhau, whose place name refers to the medieval clearing, was first mentioned in 1366 as Schribirshau and in 1372 referred to as Schreibershow. It belonged to the Duchy of Schweidnitz-Jwor, which came under the Crown of Bohemia in 1368.
