From the narrow hiking trail along the southern slope of the Ehrauberge to the Eselsgraben, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Unstrut Valley. The river, which flows primarily from west to east, has carved deep into the rock here, carving steep, south-facing slopes out of the mountains that receive plenty of sun. Ideal for viticulture.

The day before I had seen a few videos of the Moselsteig from "Outdoor with Sebastian" - the view of the Unstrut valley from the vineyard brought back memories. Beautiful view!!
