Frederick the First, King of Württemberg, had this church rebuilt in 1816 - this is the inscription above the west portal of the church of St. Andreas. The generously proportioned complex, which was built next to the medieval predecessor, is a simply structured building. The broad, single-aisled nave is bordered to the east by a recessed choir, and to the west by a square tower that steps back several times towards the top and turns into an octagon with a dome.
