The border between Luxembourg and Belgium is marked by a historic landmark from 1843. A total of 507 of these landmarks were erected over a length of 150 kilometers according to the partition agreement in 1839. Many bear traces of bullets from the time of the two world wars, especially the Battle of the Bulge.

Of the 507 boundary posts, 287 were in cast iron. These were numbered from 1 to 286 and with the coats of arms of both countries on them. Note the graceful pointed tip.
The border between Belgium and Luxembourg was established in 1839 with the Treaty of London and the exact demarcation was determined in 1843.
