Unlike so, so many of the trails at the Golfie (as Caberstone is colloquially known), Flat White is a trail which is relatively more mellow, and therefore less extreme. Granted, it's steep in places, and it's still not for novices, but it's a trifle more forgiving than some of the other fare in the hills.

It's a great first trail to get your eye in, too, or a wonderful way to wind down before heading back into town for a well-deserved coffee.
