Heiligendamm Train Station (Molli Railway)

Heiligendamm has had a train station since 1886. As the number of visitors increased, a larger reception building with a waiting room was built in 1934.
Heiligendamm station is the crossing station in the summer months, because this is where the Molli always meets its oncoming train, since the route between Bad Doberan and Kühlungsborn is single track. While enthusiastic railroad fans can't miss the entrance of the oncoming train, walkers can take a look at the 'White City by the Sea'.

From here you can take the Molli to Kühlungsborn or Bad Doberan. The Molli is a narrow-gauge railway that has been running for over 100 years. Departure times and special trips are easy to find on the homepage.

A board at the train station provides information about the history of the Molli. One learns u. a. that the press was brought to Heiligendamm by train for the G8 summit.
