The Adlerstein is an approx. 8 meter high lookout rock near Engelhardsberg, which is easily accessible through the nearby hiking car park, it offers a beautiful view, the ascent on the back requires sure-footedness in bad weather as it is a steep steel staircase.

Good vantage point to the east (Gößweinstein, Pottenstein, Hohenmirsberg, etc.). Unfortunately, the view and the viewing angle are very limited. Here (as of July 2018) urgently needs to be cleared of bushes and trees felled.
