The Adlerstein is an approximately 8-meter-high viewing rock near Engelhardsberg, which is easily accessible via the nearby hiking parking lot. It offers a beautiful view. The ascent from the rear requires surefootedness in bad weather, as it involves a steep steel staircase.

Good vantage point to the east (Gößweinstein, Pottenstein, Hohenmirsberg, etc.). Unfortunately, the view and the viewing angle are very limited. Here (as of July 2018) urgently needs to be cleared of bushes and trees felled.
