Above the village lies the Leinburg, an abandoned hilltop castle. You can cycle up through the vineyards and from there you have a great view of the village and the upper Leintal. Occasionally the restaurant is also open.

Kleingartach is a former town in the district of Heilbronn in Baden-Württemberg, which has belonged to Eppingen since December 1, 1971. Kleingartach is known as a wine-growing town in the Württemberg wine-growing region, whose vineyards belong to the large Heuchelberg site in the Württemberg Unterland region.

Gartach was first mentioned in 788 in a donation to the Lorsch monastery. The Lein, which was once called Gartach and gave its name to both the town and the Gartachgau, has its source near the town. Gartach was only given the suffix Klein- in the 17th century to distinguish it from Großgartach. The Hirsau monastery, the Wimpfen monastery and the Teutonic Order also had goods in the village. The Leinburg, which was destroyed in 1442 and was once home to the local nobility, was north of the village. In 1209 the market right for a fair was granted, in 1332 the town charter. The place was once surrounded by walls and protected by several towers.
