If you're already in Wilsede, a short visit to the "olen Huus" is worthwhile.Opened in 1907, the open-air museum is one of the oldest in Germany and shows life on a typical moorland, as was customary in the 19th century.

The heath museum "Dat ole Huus", built by teacher Bernhard Dageförde in Wilsede, was opened in 1907. It clearly shows how the pagan farmers lived and worked around 1850. The Heidemuseum also includes the exhibition sheep stable on the "Emhoff" with changing exhibitions. The life and work of the pagan farmers should be presented in an interesting way, especially for children and young people. Young visitors have free admission to the Heidemuseum. Incidentally, more and more school classes are making use of this. All visitors to the Lüneburg Heath nature reserve should visit Wilsede and the Heide Museum "Dat ole Huus" - it's worth it!The heath town of Wilsede is located in the car-free Lüneburg Heath nature reserve and must not be approached by car.lueneburger-heide.de/service/sehenswuerdigkeit/207/dat-ole-huus-heimatmuseum.html

All houses in Wilsede are oll, which does not detract from the good looks. Here you should definitely come by a Lüneburg Heath visit.

I passed many such houses, but unfortunately my eyes were mostly on the bike path, because the condition requires a lot of attention. Even from the Gehopse, the evasion of holes, deep cracks or the crossing of roots, I almost dropped the luggage out of its holder on the street.
