Beautiful estate castle on the edge of Loch Laggan.

Used in filming for Netflix series 'The Crown' as a stand in for the Queen's Scotland stay (Balmoral Castle) as we were passing there, so couldn't stay too long or we'd be in the background of one of season 4's episodes with our bikepacking bikes!

Also known from the British TV Series 'Monarch of the Glen'.

Mountain biking

A beautiful and well maintained Estate house and gardens. Famous for its use as a film location, Monarch of the Glen and The Crown have been filmed here. One of the wings which survived a big fire in 1873 was that which Queen Victoria had previously stayed in.
