The castle became famous in 1532 when Miklos Jurisics managed to fend off 55,000 Turks with just a few knights. Sulejman the Great finally gave up and conquered Vienna. In honor of this achievement, the church bell rings every day at 11 a.m.
The museum exhibits, among other things, the original crown of the Hungarian king.
