The court was first mentioned around 1290 in a document. In 1416 Duke Frederick of Tyrol is said to have found refuge on Finailhof. The duke worked as a farmhand in the yard. As a thank you, the Duke handed the farmer his silverware and drinking cup. Both parts can be admired in a showcase in the yard.
