Great view of the Schnalstal. There are so many hiking trails around the reservoir and the Similaun, as well as the Ötzi monument. All roads are well marked and easy to see even in the snow. Walking time to Similaun hut about 4 - 5 hours. On the Mastaun or the high Wiegespitz about the same time schedule. Also nice is the panoramic trail to Kurzrass. Or out of the Schnalstal.

Hiking

Already looking into the Schnalstal, past the reservoir the road leads towards Kurzras. The beautiful view is a very nice tour, approx. 3200 HM. Is also approached by a cable car. In general, the area is short trimmed on the ski season, recognizable on the smooth slopes, so I can only recommend the area around the lake Vergnat.
