The Trutzsch is a 200 meter high mountain above Nickern. At the top of the mountain is a small viewing hill, from which you have an excellent all-round view of the Dresden Elbe valley when the weather is good. Before the Christianization of the Sorbs, there is said to have been a Sorbian fortified castle on the Trutzsch.
