Grotto Milani Ludiano

The Grotto Milani is located in the characteristic village of Ludiano in the Blenio Valley. On the wind-protected slopes of the mountain, in the shade of numerous old chestnut trees, it is a relaxing oasis and is particularly popular on hot summer days. Around the Grotto Milani there are many old, private cellars, also called “grotti”. They used to serve the locals as cool storage facilities.
The “tree table” in the Grotto Milani is particularly original; here you can really eat in the middle of nature! And if the weather doesn’t play along, there are also cozy seats in the restaurant. Open during the “bella stagione” from around April to November (closed on Tuesdays), you can enjoy excellent, traditional dishes.
