Apollo Temple

The Apollo temple stands on a hill above the mill pond (Mlýnský rybník). It is about 3 km southeast of Lednice, in the direction of Breclav. The Empire Temple, like most other structures in the park, was built in the early 19th century.The castle is not big, but beautifully situated. The lap guard used to live here. It boasts Doric columns, has a spiral staircase and the classicist banister is not missing either. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the mill pond, the pond castle and the other buildings in the castle park.The Apollo temple was recently restored and is open to the public again.

Is beautifully located on a hill overlooking the lake. A quick photo stop is simply a must.
