The Apollo temple stands on a hill above the mill pond (Mlýnský rybník).The castle is not big, but beautifully located. It boasts Doric columns, has a spiral staircase. From the terrace you have a magnificent view of the Mühlenteich, the Teichschlösschen and the other buildings in the castle park.

The Temple of Apollo is a staffage building in the park of the Valtice Castle in Břeclav, Czech Republic, part of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape and thus the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the same name.
