The Alviergruppe (also: Alvierkette) is a mountain range in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. The highest point is the Gamsberg with 2385 m. The chain extends between the Rhine Valley and the Seeztal southeast of the Churfirsten from the Nideri to Sargans. Together with the Churfirsten and the Alpstein, the Alvier Group forms the Appenzeller Alps.
