Mexikoplatz is a town and jewelry square with rental and commercial buildings and the forecourt of Mexikoplatz S-Bahn station in Berlin's Zehlendorf district. It was built from 1905 to 1907 and renovated from 1985 to 1987. The square was created as a symmetrical ensemble that is divided in half by the Argentine Allee. On each side there is a block of buildings with fountains and flower borders, which is mirrored on the other side. It wasn't until 1959 that the square got its current name.
