From March the wall will be closed to walkers because 🐣 cranes and gray herons breed around it. The Old Border Wall, lined with birch trees, is the most beautiful route through the Duvenstedter Brook. It leads along today's state border with Schleswig-Holstein and is a trail lined with birch and alder trees across the Duvenstedter Brook.
