Great tour on Sunday afternoon on mostly small paths through forest and (moor) meadows. There was a lot going on in Duvenstedter Brook and Brenner Moor. Otherwise less frequented paths. After an extended cake break, it was back home via secondary routes.

The starting point of our round was the hiking car park at the Falkensteinhütte. There is a small box here and everyone can pay what the parking lot seems to be worth. The free, but small, parking lot at Zahnsgrund was already full and the two parking spaces at Ostrau are chargeable (€ 5 per day). Those who are familiar with the area advise against parking at the roadside, as the public order office often stops by there. So we started towards Klüftelweg down to Zahnsgrund. The slatted path towards Schrammsteine is a really rustic path with moss-covered rocks and lots of ferns. We just continue through the Schrammsteintor, where you can see the rugged rock formations for the first time. The steep ascent to the Schrammsteine begins a little further, but is secured by ladders. From above you have a wonderful view of the rock formation. The summit was no longer completely empty, but at least we didn't have to stand by the ladders. Then it was an overgrown, apparently rarely used path to Müllerstein, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view to the east. Nobody was there except us. A narrow path leads around the Müllerstein, which, however, lies directly on the edge of the rock. A head for heights is required here! We went back over the Schießgrund with a beautiful view of the Falkenstein and over the Zahnsgrund back to the parking lot. The GPS does not always work properly between the steep rocks, which is the reason for the somewhat jagged route.

Nice hike from Papstdorf on the Hans-Förster-Weg past the rock fall and the Galgenschänke hiking car park to Gohrisch. There the various ascents (there are only a few meters in altitude) tried out. What I like best is the narrow Falkenschlucht. Not particularly difficult as it is secured with ladders, but a bit challenging with larger rucksacks due to the tightness. From Gohrisch back down over to the neighboring Papsstein. Ascent there very easily via a stairway. The economy at the summit is worth a stop. Good food and cool beer. Due to an approaching thunderstorm we were in a bit of a hurry to descend on the east side. Shortly past the fallow deer enclosure, we were at home before the rain.
The GPS does not always work properly between the steep rocks on the ascent to Gohrisch, which is the reason for the somewhat jagged route.

Tour of the really beautiful Königstein Fortress. From up there you have a beautiful all-round view of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, the Elbe and as far as Dresden. In the individual buildings of the fortress there are various exhibitions on the history of the fortress. The garrison church is particularly worth seeing. Entry costs € 12 pp. An elevator to the fortress is available. However, it is advisable to make the way to the fortress from the upper parking lot on foot, as you can then visit the defenses in the very steep fortress entrance.

Nice round through Prague with start / finish main station. It goes past the National Theater over the bridge of the legions, with the Tahnradbahn to the castle hill. From there through the beautiful monastery gardens to the St. Norbert brewery. There was delicious beer and goulash, highly recommended. Then further over the castle and the Charles Bridge through the old town. There were delicious cakes in the Černá Madona.
