Small bike tour with the son to the alpaca pasture in Hammor. On the way past the Ruthke organic poultry farm, geese and chickens on the meadow and large tractors could be admired

I changed the tour from the website of the Stormarn Tourist Office (tourismus-stormarn.de/de/wandern) (the actual tour ends at the BHF Ahrensburg). The tour starts at the copper mill station and leads through the Bestetal to Tremsbüttel past the beautiful castle. You reach Großhansdorf via the Beimoorwald. The meadow hiking trail on the Ostring leads directly to Ahrensburg Castle. A large part of the path leads over asphalted small roads between forests, meadows and fields with little traffic. Still to be recommended due to the silence between the villages and the beautiful forest and meadow views.

In the best bike weather, my round takes me along the Bredenbek pond to the Rodenbeker Quellental. We continue through the Wittmoor and the Tangstedter Forest. There are really nice ways to cycle here. I had imagined the source of the Alster to be a little swellier, but who cares. The way back is along the Oberalstern lowlands with beautiful panoramic views over Wistedt and Tangstedt. Through the beautiful Duvenstedter Brook we went back to Ahrensburg.

This morning we quickly used the time before the announced rain for a small family bike tour to Bønnerup. The way out along the beach is really very good to drive. The way back mostly leads through forest paths and is sometimes not so nice to drive and more for MTB.

Today was a round around the Stubbe Sø. The lakeshore is only partially accessible and so the lake is a habitat for many animals. You have the best view of the lake right at the start of the tour from the observation tower. We were able to observe some water birds here, but one should also be able to see otters, sea eagles and kingfishers. The rest of the round is a nice walk through pine and beech forests.

On mostly smaller and less busy roads, it goes through forest, meadows and fields through smaller towns. The landscape is very hilly. This increases more and more the further south and thus closer to the Mols Bjerge National Park, whose landscape is particularly characterized by glaciers. The section at km 22.5-26.5 is not recommended. The path is partly very deep sandy, so that you are often forced to push. Nice descent from Ronde to Kalø (on a bike path!). Only here and the further course on the bay there is a bike path. Due to the predominantly busy side streets, however, not too bad. Only the section at km 39.5-45.3 is on a busy road and is therefore less beautiful to drive.Overall, a scenic route that needs to be adjusted here and there.
