Pure nostalgia! The baskets can accommodate 2 people, the speed of the lift allows plenty of time for the view south on Algund / Meran, or on the mountains of the Texcel group in the north. The Leiteralm is often very well visited, because in addition to the Korblift also the piece of the Meraner Höhenweg from Hochmuth ends there.

Just beautiful. In September the temperatures are ok, in summer very hot. Solid shoes are a must here.

The section of the Meraner Höhenweg between the Leiteralm and the Berggasthof Steinegg offers several fantastic views of the Meraner Land as far as the Penegal in the south. The nature of the trail is good overall and the slight incline between the two vertices allows rapid hiking. However, one should also be aware that the very good accessibility of the route by means of cable cars from Dorf Tirol and Algund, attracts a very large number of hikers.
