Hiking

From the historical staircase, the so-called Schlosssteige, which is decorated with the heraldic animals of the Fuchs von Bimbach family, the path leads up to the remains of the Wallburg via Eltmann. Like the place itself, it is said to have been founded in the 8th century. There is written evidence for the castle in the 13th century, for the place at the foot of the mountain in 1335 with the appointment as city.
