Sellin is a very special place!

      Has become beautiful!
I still know the Kurpark from GDR days when the old hotel was on the corner. What was that called again? Peace? Friendship? - no idea!
Opposite was the Bräustübel dance restaurant. It was notorious for us "Mollis" from the TBK next door: D
In the past it didn't all look that nice ... but somehow it was more busy.
But I have to admit that we haven't been to Rügen in the summer since then. Our Baltic Sea travel time is rather spring, when you can go on long hikes in the Granitz or on the beach at pleasant temperatures. This is pure relaxation! In terms of landscape, Rügen is unique anyway. This hilly and wooded area is not suspected on the Baltic Sea!
I once attached some old photos - from the open-air stage and the stairs from the 1980s and a view of the current Kurpark from the direction of the Hotel Bernstein 2005.
By the way, the amber already existed at that time - however, it was a holiday object IMHO from the gymnastics and sports association. The building was completely demolished after the fall of the wall, and the current Hotel Bernstein was built. We have already spent several wonderful days in it. The price development is enormous: O
I just saw that we were last in Sellin in 2011 ... So it's time again!
