Onda Castle is steeped in history and is an icon of the city that must be visited. Admission is free and you can enter all year round, you just have to check the schedules for each season on their website.
Of Muslim origin, it was built in the 10th century and was formerly known for its innumerable number of towers in its fortress.
It used to be a highly disputed and coveted place, becoming the medina of Sarq al-Andalus in the 12th century. Its history carries many battles and most of importance due to its value and strategic location.

Known as the castle of 300 towers (actually around 65), it is a large walled enclosure built by the Arabs in the 10th century.
