Obere Hörschbachschlucht

The stream winds a good 2km between the front and rear waterfalls. The stream has to be crossed several times.
The way is quite tough. Hiking shoes, good pedaling and a portion of fitness are required. You are compensated by a magnificent nature.

If you walk the Hörschbachach Gorge from Sechselberg, it is really exciting when you descend to the Upper Waterfall. It's really wildly romantic and just beautiful. Often you have to find your own way over hill and dale. It has a few bridges, but there are still enough stream crossings left. It is really essential to wear good shoes, you should also be sure-footed. Then nothing stands in the way of a wonderful hike in a fantastic wild landscape

Up here, the rock walls are getting higher and the water more. The paths here are not without danger and you should be sure-footed. Impressive waterfalls that carry more or less water depending on the season and the weather.

Wildly romantic path on the banks of the brook with many small climbing deposits over boulders and roots. Sturdy footwear 🥾 and sure-footedness recommended!

We have been there very often and we think it is really a beautiful hiking trail along this brook. But unfortunately extremely crowded especially at the weekend !!

Just wait a while until the barrage is full, then open the flap and listen to the roaring water as it rushes down the rocks 💦👍
