One of the most beautiful squares in all of Cuba is the beautiful Plaza Mayor in Trinidad, surrounded by magnificent colonial buildings. The entire ensemble is very well preserved and has an extremely interesting architecture. There is a small park in the middle of the square. It is surrounded by imposing colonial houses that were once inhabited by sugar barons, slave traders and local politicians.
