Piuspark (State Garden Show Ingolstadt 2020)

Since July 2017, a family-friendly recreational area for the people of the region is being built in the densely populated Ingolstadt Northwest. In 2020, the Landesgartenschau will be offering an exciting exhibition and event program with a variety of references to sustainability on 164 days under the motto "Inspiration Natur".

Station 69 APFELBAUMWIESE (ingolstadt2020.de/gartenschau/gelaendeplan/)In the middle of the surrounding field structures, the apple tree meadow, consisting of different apple varieties, is embedded in the landscape. Play sculptures in the form of a double helix, which is the basis of all living things as a DNA chain, lie like fallen apples on the meadow and offer children and adults opportunities to slide, climb, lie down and relax. Due to their shape, the moveart layslide 2.4 sculptures have an invigorating and harmonizing effect on people and their surroundings. Unused they appear as aesthetically designed sculptures. Children see it as their own little world full of adventure to discover.
There are sponsors for all 39 apple trees, who express their commitment to the Ingolstadt 2020 State Horticultural Show. Due to the high demand, additional trees were given to sponsors outside of this apple tree meadow.

Visitors can expect beautiful flowering areas and interesting garden design until October 3rd.
