In the middle of the surrounding field structures, the apple tree meadow, consisting of different apple varieties, is embedded in the landscape. Play sculptures in the form of a double helix, which is the basis of all living things as a DNA chain, lie like fallen apples on the meadow and offer children and adults opportunities to slide, climb, lie down and relax. There are sponsors for all 39 apple trees, who express their commitment to the Ingolstadt 2020 State Horticultural Show. Due to the high demand, additional trees were given to sponsors outside of this apple tree meadow.
