Hiking
There is a lot of beavers living close to Vydra river and this bridge and they are trying their best to bite through every possible birch growing near by. Some of the trees fall on the path sometimes. Be careful. As of Dec 2019 there seemed to be a lot of their work in progress.

The historical wooden bridge originally served as a 'rechle' (a grate/device over the water to count and stop logs) for timber rafting in the Vchynice-Tetov canal.
It is located near the beginning of the historical Vchynice-Tetov canal, not far from Modrava and Srní in Šumava National Park.
It is a photogenic technical monument and a popular landmark for hikers in the beautiful Povydří area.
