Tips

  • Rombea

A "mystical" path leads through the Wolfsschlucht to the small waterfall. It is about dense moss growth and tree trunks that are always obstacles. An adventurous path through the gorge, sturdy and waterproof footwear are mandatory here. From the gorge, only a climbing path leads up through the rocks to the waterfall.

The Stromerwald owes its name to the last owner of Schloss Grünsberg, Professor Wolfgang Freiherr Stromer von Reichenbach. In his legacy, he has determined the transformation of the estate and castle into a public charitable foundation of civil law.

Great waterfall in the Wolfsschlucht, frozen in the winter very nice, unfortunately only from the top of viewable, in the deep gorge is unfortunately not so easy ...

A great Biothop with many old plants and trees offers the local wildlife many opportunities to thrive.

The best way to get into the gorge is from the dune path. Just turn in the curve. At the end of the gorge a large rock formation with a waterfall awaits. If you have good shoes and can climb a bit, you can get out again. I would not recommend starting from above.

Nothing for the over-anxious. Slippery, muddy, you have to climb too.
