a small, contemplative Christmas market. A lot of craftsmanship, a few stalls with winter clothes and of course Glühweinausschank. The Catholic Ursuline Church of the Holy Redeemer in Bruneck, together with the Ursuline Monastery, is a listed building.
In 1410, the then Bishop of Brixen, Ulrich von Wien, allowed the construction of a chapel dedicated to the Holy Trinity at the end of the moat. In 1427 it was expanded into the so-called New Church, although the tower in its current shape was only added in the second half of the 15th century.
