Winding 17 miles (27 km) through rural Somerset, the River Chew is a beautiful stretch of water. It passes through the Mendip hills, flowing through Publow, Woolard and Compton Dandon before joining the River Avon at Keynsham. The river is home to diverse wildlife such as eels, otters and trout.
