Only a small part is MTB. The rest is road cycling. I wouldn't recommend for MTB. Too many private road, private lane, private gate. It's all private everywhere. Where is the common's land?

Komoot, decided to delete some points on my route send me back home after taking a wrong turn. Have to stop it and start the tour again, so if you are planning this one add an extra 10km to the tour. Plus I ignored the navigation once I arrived at the mtb track in Ashton court.

A lot of turning around after taking random path. A part of the run is on a really stony path but if you have suspension, it's okay. I saw guy with straight bikes taking that path.
Keep in mind that I did it with an e-mtb so you might take longer to do it with a regular bike.

Lovely and easy bike ride for the family. Starting from the Salt and Malt car park and going around the lake.

I have followed the Komoot path but I would recommend to stop and look around for the Mendip MTB trails as they are not on the Komoot app (???), even on the MTB premium map. Nice bike ride though
