Historic Zollhaus at the Bavaria–Thuringia Border

A customs house used to stand here on the state border between Bavaria and Thuringia.
The locality on the Rennsteig is mentioned in the 1414 divisional document.

Hardly imaginable:
A few years ago this spot was insurmountable!
Thanks to Gorbachev, it's no longer an issue today.
Having grown up without a war, I wouldn't wish it on anyone in the world.
Only a few people in the leadership of a state who bring misery to so many other people!
Let them compete against each other and let the world live in peace.
As a radio amateur without borders, I felt peace for all people even in the days of the GDR.
This is a historical place in that sense.
