The castle had different owners.
From 1699 to 1757 e.g. It was in the hands of Count Berghe von Trips.
Since 1935 she belongs to the Schmitz-Pfeiffer family.
The associated agricultural good should serve today only as a sideline.
Today you can rent the castle for parties or whatever.
Known here is the native Bubenheimer Spieleland with many toys and a corn maze: a huge playground.
