On the same day, while searching for the missing Do 11, a Dornier Do 13 crashed in the Mückle Forest area near Langenargen-Oberdorf, killing four people.
There is also a memorial stone in the Oberdorf Forest west of the B 467 (accessible only on foot or by bicycle), maintained by retired Dornier pilots.
